Green Party calls for CO2 price and reimbursements to spare low-income households

Germany’s Climate Action Law planned for 2019 must include a price for CO2, according to Green party head Annalena Baerbock. The revenue should be partly reimbursed as a per capita energy allowance, she told German newswire dpa in an article carried by Focus Online. “This would mainly benefit low-income households with lower CO2 emissions and families,” Baerbock said.
