GWS - Institute of Economic Structures Research

The Institute of Economic Structures Research GWS – a private research and consulting institute – specialises in empirical economic research. GWS was founded in 1996 and currently employs 24 researchers with expert knowledge in the fields of economics, econometrics, social science, energy and environmental science as well as data management. Key competences of GWS researchers are climate change, energy economics, the evaluation of energy and climate policy instruments as well as the promotion of renewable energies.
