State-controlled French multinational EDF is one of the largest electricity providers in the world and dominates power supply across France. Through various subsidiaries, it also controlls large parts of the French nuclear power industrry and manages the country's nuclear reactor fleet. In its 2030 company stratgegy, EDF has put a focus on quickly developping its renewable power activities.
